Susan sang the blues
In a downtown all night bar
Singing to the tune
Of a life she knew before
And on a quiet night
You can hear her sing her song
Please don’t forget me
When I am gone
I’ve not long left
The way I’m feeling
And my old wounds
Are just not healing
Sometimes I just want
To end it all
Because nothing seems to change
Yet nothing stays the same


Susan spent her nights
In a cold and lonely room
Sang to herself the words
That would haunt you someday soon
And will you miss her?
Can you hear her song?
Please don’t forget me
When I am gone
I’ve not got long

She just had to
End it all
Nothing else that she could do
